From controlling the structure of hyperbranched (co)polymers to exploring their physical properties and potential applications
Hyperbranched polymers (HBPs) are highly attractive for both academic and industry fields due to their unique physical properties, such as low glass transition temperature, low intrinsic viscosity, globular shaped particles, and multiple chains end functional groups. Therefore, they have wide potential applications in the field of coating, lubricants, surfactants, pigment carriers, catalyst carriers, and so on. Our previously developed synthetic method is able to synthesize HBPs with controllable molecular weight, branched number, and branching density. Now, we are looking forward to expanding such a synthetic method to practical application.
