Overview

This device allows for time-resolved measurement of absorption spectra of transient species in solutions and thin films in the extremely short time domain. It enables simultaneous multi-wavelength measurements in a single shot and provides high-precision measurements in the wavelength range of 370-750 nm. Accurate measurements require transient absorption signals of several mOD, and the measurement time range accommodates from nanoseconds to milliseconds. It utilizes a Nd:YAG nanosecond laser for excitation, allowing for excitation at 355 nm.
